Wedding bells were a' ringin'

Well, I am now somebody's Mother-in-law. Sort of. This weekend was my step-daughter's wedding, which means that my step-daughter's new husband is my step-son-in-law. Since I think of Morgan as my own daughter, that means that Nicholas is my son-in-law. I love it!

The wedding was beautiful! It was held in the chapel at Gardner-Webb University in Boiling Springs, NC. That's where Christy L and I went to college, 20 years ago. Since GWU is in between Lynchburg and Dallas GA (where Nick lives), we decided that the chapel would be the perfect spot for the wedding. That way everyone would only have to travel 4 hours instead of one group having to travel all 8 hours to get to the wedding. We didn't realize that the date that Morgan and Nick had chosen was Orientation weekend for the new freshmen at the college! Anyway, it turned out that the chapel was the perfect size for the wedding. There were 62 people there, including the bride and groom. After the ceremony, everyone went out to Golden Corral for a "reception dinner."

Here are some pictures of the beautiful bride and her wedding day!
